Who doesn"t like Snowdrops... with their dogged determination to bloom despite the harsh conditions of winter frosts. They are the symbol of hope and rebirth.
This little trio of Winter blooms are made from stiffened fabric, aged wire, a smattering of paint and some embroidery threads. They are held together with a bow of string and placed upon a piece of slubby linen that i have stitched. The tin is the bottom half of a lozenge tin with "snowdrop" typed onto a piece of vintage exercise book.
This item has been made by myself in my home studio to my own design.
