A Single Snowdrop - Lt Reseda Reel

The snowdrop, one of the first flowers to bloom in the depths of winter, giving rise to it symbolising "hope".

A single handmade snowdrop with a vintage Sylko cotton reel being used as a vase. The colour of the thread is pale green and there is vintage velvet to represent moss.

This collectable item has been made in my home studio to my own design using stiffened cloth, wire, thread and watercolour paint.

Measuring 13cms high and the base 3cms across.
