Ivy Wreath

Ivy is one of my favourite plants ... yes I know it can be invasive but I just love how it can be home to many small creatures, how it adds a touch of green to winter days and its symbolism for friendship and enduring love.

This simple ivy wreath has been made in my home studio with rusty wire, stiffened cloth, thread and paint and not forgetting a length of silk ribbon.
