Miss Jessop's Place

Miss Jessop's place was at the end of a bumpy lane ... she was in the habit of leaving the shed door open after she had spent time in the garden but always remembered to check that a neighbours cat wasn't sleeping on the old hessian sacks stored there before locking up and retiring to her bed for the night.

A handmade cottage with a garden shed, has been placed on top of a sweet terracotta pot. There is a handsewn textile patchwork garden and rough linen paths.

A mix of new and not so new textiles and threads has been used to construct this collectable and made to my own design.

Measuring 9.5 cms high and 6 cms at its widest.
